I love technology. I use three computer languages to write in, I develop web sites, I train others to use technology in their writing workshops and I at times turn my back on the technology I love. I was born in 1951. I am of an era that use to write letters. We would take great care in selecting just the right paper and the writing instrument that would drag across the paper in just the right fashion. I can remember anxiously waiting for a letter to arrive in our mail box (Rt. 3, Hanover, IN) from my father who sometimes had to work away from home. I would wait for days for the letters from my grandmother to arrive around holidays and always smell them because they would smell like her. Here is a nontechnology writing workshop mini lesson:
